There's more of Lubenice than this... U can accomodate in town of Cres, but for this u definitively need a car. From Cres,which is on the Island also called Cres, you have several very nice journies around the island...

So, must go :) UNESCO protected natural park, the last survived jungle in the Europe, 16 beautiful lakes conected with waterfalls...1,5 hour by car from Zagreb, on a half way to the dalamtia region. stay for a half day, or even a full day, it is worth :) Mario

A town at the bottom of Istria peninsula at the north of the adriatic. A lot of Roman artifacts in town, many interesting places in region nearby.

Mreznica, Karlovac, Croatia
Waterfalls of the river Mreznica in Karlovac (less then 50km from Zagreb) offer a great relaxing place (after workshop)! :)
The river could be a bit cold, though, since we didn't have much sun this spring. But in late summer, the water temperature should be delicious:)

Perheps you will not have enough time to visit island Vis. But next time you shoud plan for that.
